The work Due Figurine Che Litigano by Mario Tozzi was sold in the Reborn: Modern and Contemporary auction at Christies in Milan in May 2021. It achieved a price of EUR 16,250.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35 %. Admittedly, works by Mario Tozzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Il Pittore - 1931 in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 153,080.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Due Figurine Che Litigano von Mario Tozzi wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Reborn: Modern and Contemporary bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 16.250,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Tozzi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Il Pittore - 1931 im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 153.080,00.
