Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2021 Christies held the auction Old Master Paintings and Sculpture, which included the work Lilies, carnations, roses, and other flowers in a gilt urn with bas relief, on a stone ledge by Mario Nuzzi. The price achieved of USD 37,500.00 (€ 32,461.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mario Nuzzi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tulips, roses, daffodils, a carnation, a poppy, anemone, jasmine, morning glory and other flowers in a sculpted urn, on a stone ledge in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 336,000.00 (€ 245,973.65).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Old Master Paintings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lilies, carnations, roses, and other flowers in a gilt urn with bas relief, on a stone ledge von Mario Nuzzi zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 37.500,00 (€ 32.461,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mario Nuzzi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tulips, roses, daffodils, a carnation, a poppy, anemone, jasmine, morning glory and other flowers in a sculpted urn, on a stone ledge im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 336.000,00 (€ 245.973,65).
