Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La buona terra (l'uccisione del maiale) 1964 by Mario Giacomelli was sold in the Fotografia auction at Il Ponte in July 2020. The price achieved of EUR 450.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 350.00 – 650.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mario Giacomelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Selected Images in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,279.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La buona terra (l'uccisione del maiale) 1964 von Mario Giacomelli wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Fotografia bei Il Ponte versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 450,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 350,00 – 650,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mario Giacomelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Selected Images im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.279,51).
