Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Montemartre et Sacré-Coeur by Merio Ameglio was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2003. The price achieved of USD 1,792.50 (€ 1,086.36) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Merio Ameglio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Place Du Tertre Montmatre in March 2007 with an auction result of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,711.80).

Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Merio Ameglio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Place Du Tertre Montmatre im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.711,80).
