Auction result well in line with expectations

In October 2002 Christies in New York held the auction THE HOUSE SALE, which included the work A Busy Village Street by Merio Ameglio. The price achieved of USD 1,673.00 (€ 1,693.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Merio Ameglio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Place Du Tertre Montmatre, which sold at auction in March 2007 for GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,711.80).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Im Oktober 2002 führte Christies in New York die Auktion THE HOUSE SALE durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Busy Village Street von Merio Ameglio zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.673,00 (€ 1.693,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Merio Ameglio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Place Du Tertre Montmatre beobachtet, die im März 2007 für GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.711,80) versteigert wurde.
