Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Fishing boats at a Mediterranean town; and Fishing vessels in still waters by Merio Ameglio was auctioned at Christies in London in April 2003. The price achieved of GBP 1,057.50 (€ 1,377.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Merio Ameglio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Place Du Tertre Montmatre in March 2007 with an auction result of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,711.80).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Fishing boats at a Mediterranean town; and Fishing vessels in still waters von Merio Ameglio kam im April 2003 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.057,50 (€ 1.377,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Merio Ameglio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Place Du Tertre Montmatre im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.711,80).
