In November 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session, which included the work Flower Garden with White Collar by Marina Cruz. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 187,500.00 (€ 21,746.53), 56% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marina Cruz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Blushed and Blemished, which sold at auction in May last year for HKD 630,000.00 (€ 74,794.52).

Im November 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Afternoon Session durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flower Garden with White Collar von Marina Cruz zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 187.500,00 (€ 21.746,53) und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Marina Cruz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Blushed and Blemished beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für HKD 630.000,00 (€ 74.794,52) versteigert wurde.
