Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Self Portrait with Quartz Crystal by Marina Abramović was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2021. The price achieved of GBP 63,000.00 (€ 73,301.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Marina Abramović have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Life in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 287,500.00 (€ 319,244.23).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Self Portrait with Quartz Crystal von Marina Abramović kam im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 63.000,00 (€ 73.301,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marina Abramović auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Life im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 287.500,00 (€ 319.244,23).
