Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Marie van Regteren Altena; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Teatime sold at auction in April 2006 with the realized price of EUR 5,040.00.

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 2.750,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 72 %. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Marie van Regteren Altena; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Teatime im April 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 5.040,00.
