Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Sin Título by María Luisa Pacheco. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,809.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by María Luisa Pacheco have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lipari in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,300.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sin Título von María Luisa Pacheco zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.809,05) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von María Luisa Pacheco auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Lipari im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.300,93).
