Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Montañas by María Luisa Pacheco for USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,080.65). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art Modern & Contemporary at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by María Luisa Pacheco - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lipari, which sold at auction in November 2019 for USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,300.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Montañas von María Luisa Pacheco für USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.080,65) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art Modern & Contemporary bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von María Luisa Pacheco mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lipari beobachtet, die im November 2019 für USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.300,93) versteigert wurde.
