Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Arcana by María Luisa Pacheco was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in February 2021. The price achieved of USD 11,475.00 (€ 9,488.96) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by María Luisa Pacheco - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lipari, which sold at auction in November 2019 for USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,300.93).
