In November 2012 Christies in London held the auction Post War and Contemporary Art 1990 To Now, which included the work Slobber by Mari Sunna. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,250.00 (€ 4,003.67), 63% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mari Sunna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spying Woman, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,690.23).

Im November 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post War and Contemporary Art 1990 To Now durch, in der auch die Arbeit Slobber von Mari Sunna zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.250,00 (€ 4.003,67) und damit 63% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Mari Sunna mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spying Woman beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.690,23) versteigert wurde.
