In November last year Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Le Jeune, A Collecting Legacy: The Amsterdam No Reserve Edit, which included the work Amazon by Mari Sunna. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 2,520.00 68% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mari Sunna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spying Woman, which sold at auction in June 2008 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,690.23).

Im November letzten Jahres führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Le Jeune, A Collecting Legacy: The Amsterdam No Reserve Edit durch, in der auch die Arbeit Amazon von Mari Sunna zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 2.520,00 und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Mari Sunna mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spying Woman beobachtet, die im Juni 2008 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.690,23) versteigert wurde.
