Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,205.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Margaret Watkins - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Domestic Symphony, c. 1920, which sold at auction in October 2018 for USD 50,000.00 (€ 44,122.84).
