Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2004 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Hommage To Gillies by Margaret Thomas. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,553.50 (€ 2,235.91). Other works by Margaret Thomas have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 2,640.00 (€ 3,893.20) in October 2005 for the work Through the Looking Glass.

Im Oktober 2004 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hommage To Gillies von Margaret Thomas zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.553,50 (€ 2.235,91) einen neuen Besitzer.
