Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2014 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction The Classic Sale, which included the work Ship by the coast by Marcus Larsson. The price achieved of SEK 115,000.00 (€ 12,145.28) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marcus Larsson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunset by the coast, which sold at auction in December 2015 for SEK 270,000.00 (€ 29,414.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2014 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion The Classic Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ship by the coast von Marcus Larsson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von SEK 115.000,00 (€ 12.145,28) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Marcus Larsson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sunset by the coast beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für SEK 270.000,00 (€ 29.414,31) versteigert wurde.
