Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Woman Shaving by Marcus Harvey for GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,508.75). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Marcus Harvey have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Golden Showers in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 25,550.73).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Woman Shaving von Marcus Harvey für GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.508,75) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marcus Harvey auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Golden Showers im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 25.550,73).
