Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%

This artwork by Marcos Grigorian achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in New York in June last year. In the Marcos Grigorian UnearthedWorks from the Artist's Estate auction, the work Sardouri sold for USD 14,025.00 (€ 13,396.70) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcos Grigorian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Horizontal & Vertical Earthwork each panel 188 x 188 cm in June last year with an auction result of USD 315,375.00 (€ 301,246.54).

Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
