Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Sothebys in Cologne held the auction Living Contemporary, which included this untitled work by Marco Gastini. The price achieved of EUR 1,638.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marco Gastini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work I Graffi Di Oseberg Si Disegnano Nel Buio in November 2008 with an auction result of EUR 27,150.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Köln die Auktion Living Contemporary durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Marco Gastini zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.638,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marco Gastini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit I Graffi Di Oseberg Si Disegnano Nel Buio im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.150,00.
