Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Untitled (Move), 2000 by Marco Breuer was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2017. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,589.26) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marco Breuer - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Pan (C-366), 2003, which sold at auction in April 2016 for USD 15,625.00 (€ 13,657.02).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Move), 2000 von Marco Breuer kam im April 2017 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.589,26) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Marco Breuer mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Pan (C-366), 2003 beobachtet, die im April 2016 für USD 15.625,00 (€ 13.657,02) versteigert wurde.
