Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2020 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Wired: Online Auction, which included the work Yellow Volcan by Marcello Lo Giudice. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,439.51) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcello Lo Giudice achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orange - Yellow Sun in June 2019 with an auction result of EUR 150,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2020 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Wired: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit Yellow Volcan von Marcello Lo Giudice zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 8.439,51) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcello Lo Giudice erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orange - Yellow Sun im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 150.000,00.
