Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans Titre, 1970 by Marcelle Cahn was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in June 2009. It changed hands for a price of EUR 893.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 700.00 – 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcelle Cahn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Composition Abstraite in June 2011 with an auction result of EUR 168,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans Titre, 1970 von Marcelle Cahn wurde im Juni 2009 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 893,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 700,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcelle Cahn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Composition Abstraite im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 168.750,00.
