The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,116.34) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcel Wanders achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fauteuil "Crochet Chair", 2006 in October 2013 with an auction result of EUR 17,537.00.

Die Arbeit Coryza (Airborne Snotty Vase) von Marcel Wanders kam im November 2020 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.116,34) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcel Wanders erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fauteuil "Crochet Chair", 2006 im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 17.537,00.
