Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Marcel Vertès could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian Art auction, the work Girl On A Terrace: Three Panels For A Standing Screen changed hands for USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,929.31) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcel Vertès achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paravent Représentant Des Personnages De La Comedia Dell'Arte in January 2014 with an auction result of EUR 27,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Marcel Vertès konnte im Oktober 2012 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian Art wechselte die Arbeit Girl On A Terrace: Three Panels For A Standing Screen für USD 2.500,00 (€ 1.929,31) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcel Vertès erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paravent Représentant Des Personnages De La Comedia Dell'Arte im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 27.500,00.
