This work of art by Marcel Vertès could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art, Including Russian Art auction, the work Girl On A Terrace: Three Panels For A Standing Screen changed hands for USD 2,500.00 (€ 1,929.31) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcel Vertès achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paravent Représentant Des Personnages De La Comedia Dell'Arte in January 2014 with an auction result of EUR 27,500.00.
