Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (from series 34 Drawings) by Marcel Dzama for USD 768.00 (€ 696.91). This price was achieved in the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Marcel Dzama achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Later the Delights of Damnation Will be More Profound in July 2020 with an auction result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 33,462.71).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (from series 34 Drawings) von Marcel Dzama für USD 768,00 (€ 696,91) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Marcel Dzama erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Later the Delights of Damnation Will be More Profound im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 33.462,71).
