In November 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Vis by Marc Mulders. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,500.00 30% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Marc Mulders have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Bleke Irissen Iii in March 2010 with an auction result of EUR 34,350.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im November 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vis von Marc Mulders zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.500,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Marc Mulders auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Bleke Irissen Iii im März 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 34.350,00.
