Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2007 Sothebys in Olympia held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art, which included the work Homme Et Femme Surrealiste by Marc Eemans. The price achieved of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,772.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Marc Eemans - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Kallomorphose V., which sold at auction in December 2014 for EUR 22,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2007 führte Sothebys in Olympia die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Homme Et Femme Surrealiste von Marc Eemans zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.772,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Marc Eemans mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Kallomorphose V. beobachtet, die im Dezember 2014 für EUR 22.500,00 versteigert wurde.
