Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Mao Lizi was sold in the Chinese 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2010. It changed hands for a price of HKD 112,500.00 (€ 11,115.37) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mao Lizi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2015 with an auction result of HKD 3,880,000.00 (€ 455,266.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mao Lizi wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion Chinese 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 11.115,37) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mao Lizi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.880.000,00 (€ 455.266,51).
