This artwork by Manuel Hernández Mompó achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Madrid in October 2007. In the The Spanish Sale, The Westin Palace Hotel, Madrid auction, the work Nos movemos, 1969 sold for EUR 50,650.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Manuel Hernández Mompó; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mercado sold at auction in October 2006 with the realized price of EUR 60,000.00.
