However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Manuel García y Rodríguez - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work El Patio De La Villa (The Villa Garden), which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 60,500.00 (€ 84,715.65).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 29.545,89) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Für andere Arbeiten von Manuel García y Rodríguez mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit El Patio De La Villa (The Villa Garden) beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 60.500,00 (€ 84.715,65) versteigert wurde.
