This work of art by Manuel García y Rodríguez could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in May 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th Century European Art auction, the work Dappled Sunlight In A Garden changed hands for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,211.77) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Manuel García y Rodríguez have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work El Patio De La Villa (The Villa Garden) in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 60,500.00 (€ 84,715.65).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Manuel García y Rodríguez konnte im Mai 2019 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th Century European Art wechselte die Arbeit Dappled Sunlight In A Garden für USD 12.500,00 (€ 11.211,77) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manuel García y Rodríguez auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit El Patio De La Villa (The Villa Garden) im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.500,00 (€ 84.715,65).
