Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Artcurial held the auction Limited Edition, which included the work Pamela I - 2013 by Manolo Valdés. The price achieved of EUR 13,120.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Manolo Valdés achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Infanta Margarita in February 2011 with an auction result of GBP 457,250.00 (€ 538,602.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Limited Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pamela I - 2013 von Manolo Valdés zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 13.120,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Manolo Valdés erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Infanta Margarita im Februar 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 457.250,00 (€ 538.602,24).
