Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A fox in a winter landscape by Manfred Schatz was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in July 2000. It changed hands for a price of NLG 2,808.48 (€ 1,234.51) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of NLG 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Manfred Schatz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work German Hunting Fox - The Endless Search in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,212.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A fox in a winter landscape von Manfred Schatz kam im Juli 2000 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von NLG 2.808,48 (€ 1.234,51) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von NLG 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manfred Schatz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit German Hunting Fox - The Endless Search im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 10.212,42).
