A top price for Manfred Schatz - as previously expected
In November 2007 Sothebys in New York held the auction Sporting Art, which included the work German Hunting Fox - The Endless Search by Manfred Schatz. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,212.42) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, German Hunting Fox - The Endless Search is the most expensive artwork by Manfred Schatz that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im November 2007 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Sporting Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit German Hunting Fox - The Endless Search von Manfred Schatz zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 10.212,42) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist German Hunting Fox - The Endless Search das teuerste Kunstwerk von Manfred Schatz, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
