Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Wild Horses by Manfred Schatz was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in August 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,318.70) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Manfred Schatz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work German Hunting Fox - The Endless Search in November 2007 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 10,212.42).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Wild Horses von Manfred Schatz wurde im August 2013 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.318,70) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Manfred Schatz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit German Hunting Fox - The Endless Search im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 10.212,42).
