Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work A man praying by Malthe Engelsted for DKK 1,850.00 (€ 1,616.85). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even below the estimate range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Malthe Engelsted have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2002 by the work Afternoon frolics at GBP 1,762.50 (€ 2,759.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2024 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit A man praying von Malthe Engelsted für DKK 1.850,00 (€ 1.616,85) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Malthe Engelsted wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2002 die Arbeit Afternoon frolics mit GBP 1.762,50 (€ 2.759,98).
