Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 2,422.50 (€ 2,284.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Malcolm H. Myers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View of a City 1 (New York), which sold at auction in December last year for USD 5,355.00 (€ 5,005.61).
