Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2011 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Woman Seated on a Sofa by Malcolm Drummond. The price achieved of GBP 600.00 (€ 688.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Malcolm Drummond achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman Sewing On A Couch in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 24,000.00 (€ 35,645.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Woman Seated on a Sofa von Malcolm Drummond zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 600,00 (€ 688,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Malcolm Drummond erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman Sewing On A Couch im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.000,00 (€ 35.645,54).
