It achieved a price of SEK 52,000.00 (€ 5,557.79), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 73%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Maj Bring; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot "Utsikt mot Gamla stan" sold at auction in April 2015 with the realized price of SEK 60,000.00 (€ 6,412.83).

Die Arbeit Still life with green cat. von Maj Bring kam im April 2015 bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 52.000,00 (€ 5.557,79) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 73%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Maj Bring; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit "Utsikt mot Gamla stan" im April 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von SEK 60.000,00 (€ 6.412,83).
