Auction result misses estimated price range
In December this year a collector was able to acquire the work Potrait of a Girl by Maj Bring for SEK 22,000.00 (€ 1,978.85). This price was achieved in the auction Important Winter Sale at Bukowski and was even below the estimate range of SEK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Maj Bring - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Utsikt mot Gamla stan", which sold at auction in April 2015 for SEK 60,000.00 (€ 6,412.83).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Potrait of a Girl von Maj Bring für SEK 22.000,00 (€ 1.978,85) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Important Winter Sale bei Bukowski erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Maj Bring mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Utsikt mot Gamla stan" beobachtet, die im April 2015 für SEK 60.000,00 (€ 6.412,83) versteigert wurde.
