The work In Between Oneself and Others #27-19 by Maiko Kobayashi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in September 2021. It achieved a price of HKD 32,760.00 (€ 3,633.40), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. Admittedly, works by Maiko Kobayashi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work In Between Oneself and Others #1 in July last year with an auction result of HKD 277,200.00 (€ 34,588.86).

Die Arbeit In Between Oneself and Others #27-19 von Maiko Kobayashi kam im September 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 32.760,00 (€ 3.633,40) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maiko Kobayashi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit In Between Oneself and Others #1 im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 277.200,00 (€ 34.588,86).
