A top price for Maiko Kobayashi
In July last year Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Curated: Hong Kong, which included the work In Between Oneself and Others #1 by Maiko Kobayashi. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 277,200.00 (€ 34,588.86), 39% above the upper estimate. With this result, In Between Oneself and Others #1 is even the most expensive work of art by Maiko Kobayashi that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juli letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Curated: Hong Kong durch, in der auch die Arbeit In Between Oneself and Others #1 von Maiko Kobayashi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 277.200,00 (€ 34.588,86) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis.
