Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Reclining Nude by Mahmoud Moussa was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including BaghdadiyatIraqi Masterpieces from the Madhloom and Makiya Collections auction at Bonhams in London in June 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 22,750.00 (€ 26,509.66). Other works by Mahmoud Moussa have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 52,500.00 (€ 46,093.06) in March 2016 for the work Egyptian Woman.

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 22.750,00 (€ 26.509,66) einen neuen Besitzer.
