This artwork by Mahmoud Moussa achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Dubai in October 2010. In the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Face of a Fellaha sold for USD 56,250.00 (€ 40,485.10) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mahmoud Moussa; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Egyptian Woman sold at auction in March 2016 with the realized price of USD 52,500.00 (€ 46,093.06).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Mahmoud Moussa erzielte im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in Dubai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Face of a Fellaha für USD 56.250,00 (€ 40.485,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00.
