Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Living Room by Madelynn Green was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in June last year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 4,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 4,410.00 (€ 5,123.17). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Madelynn Green achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Biking in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 75,277.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Living Room von Madelynn Green wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 4.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 4.410,00 (€ 5.123,17) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Madelynn Green erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Biking im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 75.277,77).
