This artwork by Madelynn Green achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in December 2020. In the 20th c. and Contemporary Art Day Sale - Afternoon Session auction, the work Cadillac sold for USD 12,600.00 (€ 10,302.53) - well above the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Madelynn Green have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Biking in June 2021 with an auction result of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 75,277.77).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Madelynn Green erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Phillips in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th c. and Contemporary Art Day Sale - Afternoon Session wurde die Arbeit Cadillac für USD 12.600,00 (€ 10.302,53) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Madelynn Green auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Biking im Juni 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 75.277,77).
