In October 2008 Christies in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Titanium Exposé by Machiko Edmondson. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 27,500.00 (€ 35,052.63), 53% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Machiko Edmondson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Semantic Space, which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 122,500.00 (€ 85,211.46).

Im Oktober 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Titanium Exposé von Machiko Edmondson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 27.500,00 (€ 35.052,63) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Machiko Edmondson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A Semantic Space beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für USD 122.500,00 (€ 85.211,46) versteigert wurde.
