Admittedly, works by Maarten van Heemskerck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Triumph Of Tobias in January 2015 with an auction result of USD 905,000.00 (€ 801,594.33).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 185.000,00 (€ 170.790,25) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 150.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Maarten van Heemskerck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Triumph Of Tobias im Januar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 905.000,00 (€ 801.594,33).
