Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy In Running Script by Ma Yifu was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in May 2016. The price achieved of HKD 118,000.00 (€ 13,638.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ma Yifu - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu, which sold at auction in October 2015 for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 46,730.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Running Script von Ma Yifu kam im Mai 2016 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 118.000,00 (€ 13.638,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ma Yifu mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Zhuanshu beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 46.730,66) versteigert wurde.
